Andrea Marcon Steps In for Zubin Mehta with the Munich Philharmonic
On 7 and 8 October 2026, Andrea Marcon will step in at short notice for Zubin Mehta, Conductor Laureate of the Munich Philharmonic, who has had to cancel his appearances for health reasons.
The originally scheduled programme remains unchanged, featuring Mozart’s Overture to Così fan tutte and the “Jupiter” Symphony, as well as Carl Maria von Weber’s Bassoon Concerto in F major with Raffaele Giannotti as soloist.
