Soran Lind: A Brilliant Start to His Autumn Tour

Soran Lind made a brilliant start to his autumn tour on 26 September with a sold-out concert at the Dzintari Concert House in Jūrmala, Latvia. Together with his pianist Eirik Haug Stømner, the saxophonist presented his recital programme “The Golden Age of the Saxophone” to an enthusiastic audience, receiving a rapturous response and loud cheers, culminating in a standing ovation!

The successful opening concert marks the beginning of an extensive tour that will take Soran Lind to renowned concert venues and cultural institutions across Germany, Scandinavia and the Baltic region over the coming months. At the same time, the tour represents an important step towards his album release, which is scheduled for spring 2027 on GENUIN Classics.

With “The Golden Age of the Saxophone”, Soran Lind explores one of the most colourful chapters in the history of the instrument. The programme focuses on French repertoire that showcases the saxophone’s extraordinary range of colours, lyrical qualities and virtuosity. Alongside works by composers such as Georges Bizet and Darius Milhaud, Lind also brings rarely heard works by Alfred Desenclos and Paule Maurice to the stage. Together with Eirik Haug Stømner, he presents a programme that combines rich French sonorities, beautiful melodies and dazzling virtuosity.

25 October 2026 – Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Oslo, Norway

15 November 2026 – Beethoven-Haus Bonn, Germany

22.11.2026 – Kulturverein Haar, Germany

The autumn tour leads Soran towards a major milestone: the release of his debut album on GENUIN Classics in spring 2027.
